Especially for some key business industries, such as energy and electricity, financial investment fields, etc., cabinet asset management is playing a crucial role for the normal operation of their business.

Most of the existing data center asset management still adopts the manual recording method, through a combination of paper labels and forms, and is manually entered into the fixed asset library; while in recent years, with the rise of bar-code and QR code scanning technology, most fixed assets are entered through digital code scanners. As a result, cabinet fixed assets are also recorded and pipeline assets are tagged in such a way for asset management. This type of approach relies to a large extent on manual operation for management, while combining the scanner for entry and then synchronizing the asset library offline. Due to the offline nature of the tag, data needs to be updated frequently inventory, manual in this type of management method accounted for a large proportion.

RFID Management
RFID tags used in the server room is mainly used for regional asset management and asset management of some cabinets U-bit. Regional asset management through active / passive RFID tags, usually 433MHZ, 900MHZ and 2.4GHZ band, and then read by the reader of the band, read the range and service life is generally different depending on the type of tag or antenna power, such positioning can be positioned to the antenna coverage of the assets, and real-time management through the network background.
